The days of chinos and jeans to the office are over. It's time to start dressing like a gentleman again, and a great suit is the 1st step toward reclaiming your place at the top of your game. The suit is the most important set of clothing in a man's wardrobe, and it should beworn proudly- and regularly. The right suit has the ability to transcend mere dressing. It brings out the hidden attributes to the surface:power, confidence, authority.

A good suit should fit your posture and flatter your frame. If your suit jacket doesn't make you look better when you put it on, you are wearing the wrong one. Also avoid narrow and extra wide lapels and keep it somewhere in the middle. Make sure the hem sits proper with the shoe depending on the kind of style you rock.




You could have the most expensive suit on the market, but if it doesn't fit properly, you going to look like a farmer. A suit should be neither too tight nor too loose, it should gently hug the body, but not restrict you in any way.
A suit jacket should pull smoothly across your back when buttoned. The lapels are meant to lay flat across the chest. Some padding in the shoulders can help fill out your frame. Needless to say, there is no one style that works best for all men. Take your time. Do your research. And whatever you do, trust the mirror. No matter how much your wife or galfriend tell you how amazing you look, if you aren't feeling it, try something else. You can't afford to have the wrong set in you wardrobe.

I always tell my male clients that the 1st suit they need in their wardrobes is a navy and a grey set. Personally i love grey and i rock it anyhow and anywhere. Next to midnyt blue, a grey suit is the essential of any well-curated closet. Nothing is so versatiile: Whether worn with black, brown, or cordovan shoes, you can wear the same gray suit every day of the week. As long as you vary shoes and shirt and tie, none will be the wiser




There are 3 type of fits and you can try each of them to see which sits on you best; English fit, Italian fit and America fit.

English cuts fit close to the body without feeling or looking tight, accentuating a defined waist, strong chest, and naturally sloping shoulders.

Italian cut drapes more than the English and is accented by narrower pants, which are often worn much higher on the ankle. The jackets are long with high padded shoulders.

American cut is the 3-buttoned model which is generally relaxed and informal with sloping
shoulders.
