Its official women in Paris are now allowed to wear trousers. This was illegal before and now I believe smiles are everywhere as it is nomore illegal. The battle has been on since the French Revolution, women demanding the uplifting of this law. However, the law had to do the french values but it also a way to prevent women to take up for position that were meant for men.

The only time a woman was allowed to wear pants was when they were riding horses and bicycles but permission had to requested for before wearing them. Some women especially in the political space disobeyed the law from time to time and wore jeans to public gatherings.
